Problems with closing and/or locking your Cabinet Door
In the scenerio where the system alarm is activated and you are unable to close the door, Please follow the instrictions below to rectify the situation. The most common occurence of this problem is found when the door has been pushed closed quickly, and has not been held closed long enough for the solenoid locking system to lock the door. This causes the solenoids to activate and lock, but not hold the door closed. This means the door is open, whilst the solonoids are activated.
To rectify, simply follow these steps:
1) WARNING! Please ensure you turn off the mains power before you do any work inside the system. Using the red master key, open the cabinet by turning the key, and pull the front of the system open.
2) Then, using a flat screwdriver, pull open the solenoids that are causing the problem (2 on the 40 system top and bottom, or one solenoid on the 16 and 8 systems).
3) As you are pulling them in, you should then be able to close the door fully. You can then let go of the solenoids - the door should now be locked.
4) Close the cabinet and ensure that it has been locked again using the red master key.
5) You can now power up the system.
This issue should now be solved. However, if you are experiencing further problems or would like further assistance, please contact support@keytracker.co.uk or call +44(0)121 559 9000.
