Keytracker key control systems

Keytracker key control systems are low-cost mechanical, non-electronic key storage solution. Ensure that you never lose another key. Our systems will eliminate time tracking keys, ensure total key control security and will control all access to keys. Our systems also store any size or number of key bunches.

How does it work?

Very simply by attaching a key, key bunch or anything else to a small plastic numbered "retaining peg" or "plug" with a special wire seal or key ring (called an anti tamper seal), which, once sealed it cannot be re-opened, unless you use a pair of seal cutters to physically cut the wire seal (see left). The anti-tamper seal is also known as anti tamper key ring or secure key ring.

 

This peg is located in the Keytracker Board, preventing anyone from just helping themselves, giving you complete control of the keys. The Keytracker board may in turn be housed in a secure area or cabinet if required.

To access keys, an authorised user simply inserts their own personal-issue coloured identity control peg / access peg to release the required key bunch. Their own control peg cannot be removed until the keys are returned.

The colour of the control peg will tell which section or department the user is from, whilst the engraved number or initials on the end of the control peg identifies the exact person. This also ensures that the keys are returned to the same person after use, so that the user can retrieve their personal peg (access peg).

Keytracker key control systems are available in any size or format, ranging from a 5 key capacity system, to a 150 single board key capacity system. Being modular, the system can easily be expanded at any time. See the pictures below for examples of the different sizes available:
