Keytracker at Douglas & Gordon

Case Study - Douglas & Gordon

Douglas & Gordon is a family owned independent estate agency based in London. With 17 offices across central, west and south west London Douglas & Gordon provide those buying, renting, selling or letting in the city with an exceptional personal service.

Challenges:
With so many property keys to manage across their branches, Douglas & Gordon required a safer way of managing these keys than their existing cupboards and hooks. After researching the market place, they decided that Keytracker was the ideal partner.

Solution:
After considering the individual requirements for the independent estate agents the solution identified was a mechanical system installed into each of the 17 branches. These systems are used by everyone in the offices from managers to negotiators and team assistants in the sales and lettings departments. Through the individual personalised access pegs, it is always easy to identify who has the keys to a property at any time and reduces the risk of opportunist theft.

Each key system holds the master keys for the corresponding building and are linked together with Keytracker Software allowing quick access to approved staff as well as a full audit trail.

Ailsa Monro, team assistant manager at Douglas & Gordon said: “The keys are now stored in a much safer way, this allows us not only peace of mind but also reduces the risk of lost keys and theft. By reducing these risks, we can operate better as a business and therefore spend more time with our customers!”

“We would recommend a Keytracker system to anyone and can’t praise Keytracker enough, every bit of our dealings with them has been seamless. Everyone I’ve spoken to has been unbelievably helpful and friendly from Jess and Charlotte to Adam and his installation team.”

Adam Marusiak at Keytracker said: “It has been an absolute pleasure to work with such a forward thinking independent agency, we are pleased to have made the key management across their sites easier and more secure for them and will always be on hand should their needs develop in the future.”
