KeyTracker Electronic Key Cabinets

State-of-the-art, UK-designed and built, world-leading key cabinets that send automated emails & reports as required, with over-the-air updates maintaining ultimate efficiency & longevity, at the lowest cost.

Options include:

A - Steel or polycarbonate door 

B - Individually locked or unlocked key positions - “locked” include a solenoid on every key set to only release as instructed - “unlocked” also remembers users, but keys may be removed by all users that have cabinet access.

C - Static or Dynamic layout (All electronic key system fobs include Radio Frequency Identification chips)

    Static = numbered key positions with numbered key fobs (most popular) - best used with a clear door for fast information.

    Dynamic = no numbers on fobs or board, so all keys may be returned anywhere but must be searched for in the software or at the cabinet when required (often used when keys may travel between different cabinets)

D - Cabinet sizes:30, 50, 100 or 200 - all cabinets may be linked or part filled to accommodate any number of keys.

 E - coloured LEDs above every key position for fast identification of return or available key positions.

F - Fingerprint, card or PIN number

G - 10” touch screen or Steel keypad with 5” display 

H - independent desk fob reader(s) if required 

I - Software hosting - on-premises or cloud-based (recommended for peace of mind with continual backups & faster support)

KeyTracker electronic key Systems are the most advanced electronic key cabinets that use a multitude of different technologies, such as RFID, Personal Identification numbers, access cards, Facial Recognition or Fingerprint Biometrics, web services & very powerful software - designed for operations looking to securely control bunches of keys in one secure solution, whilst using their information to improve efficiencies, produce reports and monitor progress of items controlled by keys, as well as their users.

Designed & Engineered in the United Kingdom, all KeyTracker electronic systems feature easy to use stylish enclosures with inbuilt battery back up that can blend into your smart workspace.

With its own inbuilt website, every cabinet can be linked, monitored, adapted, programmed, alarmed, accessed and interrogated… remotely.

Robust RFID chips & technology are used to always keep track of the movement of keys. RFID system pegs are attached to all keys so that when the item passes through a reader or is inserted in to the electronic cabinet, the tag is scanned to a central database. The database stores the time & position as well as asset information such as the status and current user.

The powerful KeyTracker web based software and cabinets are easy to use and effective, but also offer a flexible API for 3rd party software integration, meaning that you can integrate your existing services to make your audit and tracking workflows even more efficient.

Each key position may be locking or non-locking.

There are a few different sizes of cabinets, all of which may be linked or part filled to accommodate any number of keys - Cabinet sizes are 30, 50, 100, 200.

Readers are added to suit each customer’s requirements, so several cabinets may be linked with just 1 access point, via PIN, card, fingerprint or facial recognition.

All systems include RFID tags to identify each set of keys and web-based tracking software, with searchable reports by time period, user & key.

All key bunches are offset, with space for larger bunches.

Solid or clear doors are secure with 400nm burst-proof locks & manual key override.

Static System

Best used with a clear door cabinet, the static system has numbered key bunches that live in their matching numbered key positions- see at a glance which keys are in or out - if a key is returned to the wrong position the cabinet will tell you and the correct position will light up - often used by motor dealers & estates departments that also number their vehicles or properties 

Dynamic System

The dynamic setup allows keys to be returned to any available slot in any cabinet within your KeyTracker network. Locating a key is supported by searching the software, app or at the cabinet, which illuminates the LED of the key’s slot and displays the slot number on screen once your required key is selected.

KeyTracker Electronic Cabinets are manufactured & tested to the highest standards at our factory, so you can simply install your cabinets before connecting to power and internet (2m high). Then we will remotely do some tests and setup processes before running through your simple-to-use software.

Our installation engineers, both on-site & remote, are all trained to the highest standards and ensure that the installation process runs smoothly so that you’re up and running, confidently controlling your keys and assets as quickly as possible.

When it comes to maintaining your KeyTracker Electronic System, your license includes our regular over-the-air updates seamlessly to keep your equipment & software up to date, as well as keeping security at its highest level whilst monitoring your hardware efficiently.

If you choose our cloud hosting option, backups & updates are all automatic, otherwise please be sure to back up your system information regularly, using the inbuilt backup tool and allow our access via TeamViewer or similar, to assist you as required.

License Fees

License fees are essential to keep your software at peak performance. Yesterdays software is out of date, in fact this mornings software may have already been improved, so enabling over-the-air updates from KeyTracker allows us to keep your equipment as future-proof as possible. Our skilled specialist software engineers are working continuously with businesses just like yours, helping them overcome new challenges every day, then transferring those solutions or speed modifications to help all customers. Friendly staff at our U.K. head office manned help desk are always available in case you forget your password or need help.
 
Your license fees collectively pay for these, but at only £1000 per customer per year and £200 per cabinet, we ensure you get the best possible value for money and all the benefits of users, who vary from the Bank of England and Ministry of Defence to the largest car dealers and estates departments. Others charge more to satisfy shareholders, but we are here for our customers and always guarantee the best possible value for money.

Cloud hosting is the way forward for most businesses, avoiding costly and time consuming servers, layered & often compromised firewalls, power supply & outdated kit worries. We use AWS, figuring that if it is good enough for all the Formula 1 teams, moving massive amounts of data at the speed of light, then it is good enough for us & our customers. Even the finest Swiss watches, aeroplane engines, cars, machinery & equipment should be maintained to keep it working exactly as you want it to … perfect every time - so our optional service level agreements include visits to keep your hardware working at its peak, preempting any issues and eliminating down time - but in the unlikely event that you do suffer an issue of any kind then our specialist engineers are on hand to get you up and running with the minimum of fuss and at reduced costs.
 
All engineers are full time KeyTracker employees with regular training and complete commitment to KeyTracker customers. - annual costs are around 8% of purchase price, providing complete peace of mind and could save a great deal.
