Challenges:

Before introducing Keytracker, RS Components’ key management process consisted of a manual key cabinet with a sign-out sheet. The cabinet wasn’t very secure and didn’t prevent unpermitted users from accessing the keys. In addition, a recurring issue that the company faced was keys getting misplaced or not being returned.

Solution:

RS Components contacted Keytracker and, after careful deliberation, decided to purchase the electronic key cabinet. Since their purchase, they have been able to keep track of all key movements through the system’s software. The team no longer needs to manually manage and issue their keys, and in addition, the system is easy to use for all staff members.
