Sandwell Council

Sandwell Council was created in 1974 to administer the newly formed Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell, in the West Midlands county of England. Sandwell Council have been labelled as a thriving, optimistic and resilient community where they take pride in providing and maintaining the happiness and wellbeing of families, working people, students, children and the most vulnerable.

Challenges:

Before being introduced to Keytracker’s key and asset management system, Sandwell Council had a standard cabinet in place which they would use to manage their keys although, this process was not very secure and allowed for an easy access for any unauthorised personnel.

Solution:

After speaking with a member of Keytracker’s sales team, Sandwell Council made an informed decision to purchase a mechanical system. Their main reason for wanting to implement the system was for additional security, and Keytracker was able to provide that for the organisation. The system is easy to use, promotes flexibility and allows the staff members to immediately see who is in possession of the key at that time.
